| How to Become a Christian! |
| Congratulations! I am glad you decided to learn more about how to become a Christian. Trusting Jesus with your eternal future is the single most important decision that you will ever make. Nothing else in life will ever be more important. It may seem really hard to you or difficult to understand but all you have to do is take the first step and then Jesus will lead the way. It is really very simple. You will wonder how you ever lived without Him in your life. Jesus loves you and He came to die for you! If you had been the only person alive, He still would have died for just you! God gives us all the ability to make choices. From the moment we were born we excercise that gift. We choose to cry, smile, laugh, frown. We choose who we like to hold us. Your choice today is to decide whether you won't to spend eternity in Heaven or Hell. Heaven is a place full of beauty and love. God is a God of love, grace, mercy, forgiveness, and understanding. Hell is a place of torment. The devil hates you. He is of hate, lies, and torture. He is deceiving. Why would any one choose to spend eternity with him? Being in Hell is being separated from God. No love, grace, mercy, forgiveness, or understanding. No peace. I hope that it is this very moment you choose to be with God. You may think you have done things that God would never forgive. That is not God, He does forgive, just ask. The devil will try and convince you that he is the right way. Please do not listen to him. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 |

| A - Admit you are a sinner. Repent, turning away from your sin. Romanss 3:23, Romans 6:23, Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9 B - Believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son and accept God's forgiveness of Sin. John 3:16, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Romans 5:8, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 1:11-13 C - Commit your life to Jesus. Ask Him to be your Savior. Romans 10:9-10, Romans 10:13, Luke 9:23 Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn away from my sins. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart. I want to trust you to be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins. I know I will spend eternity with you in Heaven when my life on earth is over. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen. For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8,9 He who has the Son of God has life; he who does not have the Son of God, does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:12,13 NKJV To deepen your relationship with Christ you should: 1. Read your Bible everday to know Christ better. 2. Talk to God in prayer everyday. 3. Tell others about Christ. 4. Worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached. 5. As Christ's representative in a needy world, demonstrate your new life by your love and concern for others. Remember you may be the only Bible someone may ever see. God can use you to change lives! Life as a Christian is not perfect. We will never be perfect as long as we live on this earth. The blood of Jesus Christ was sufficent to wash ALL of our sins away. Praise the Lord! Thank you Jesus! Once you become a Christian your life will be forever changed. Jesus never promised it would be easy. The devil is out to destroy a Christian. He doesn't want us to share Jesus' love with others. The lost already belong to him, so he works on destroying the Christian. We belong to Jesus and the victory has been won! Praise the Lord! If you sincerely said the above prayer, you will meet Jesus, your Savior, face to face. Just imagine! There is only one way to Heaven, through Jesus Christ!
